COVRIN WP2 T2.1 Bioinformatics Ring Trial Read Dataset

Raw read data of the Bioinformatics Ring Trial conducted on behalf of the JIP06-COVID19-COVRIN project (https://onehealthejp.eu/jip-covrin/). The dataset includes 22 SARS-Cov-2 samples (sample 01-22) and 5 samples from other coronaviruses (samples 23-27). The read dataset was built in order to cover: i) different wet-lab protocols and NGS technologies [Ion Torrent (S5 and Genexus), Illumina (MiSeq and NextSeq 550) and Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT)]; ii) different quality levels (namely, regarding sequencing depth of coverage); iii) genetic diversity, including sequences from several SARS-CoV-2 variants of interest (VOI) / concern (VOC); iv) samples with specific features likely informative in the context of the trial, such as confirmed VOC/non-VOC mixed infection, artificial reads with multiple VOC-associated mutations (SNPs and indels), SARS-CoV-2 evolved during experimental evolution or during a long-term infection in an immunocompromised individual.
