*Adjusted clinic rates were calculated by extrapolating from those with same syndrome defined at household visit who sought care at a clinic besides the designated referral clinics, Lwak and Tabitha (see methods). In Asembo, in the age categories Longitudinal prevalence is days of cough or difficulty breathing as part of an ARI episode per person-year. Incidence is number of episodes of ARI per person-year.
