Data and R Workflow for Modelling Cyanobacterial Growth and Stress Tolerance in Martian Regolith Simulants

This data release accompanies the published study on cyanobacterial growth dynamics and modelling (Microorganisms, 2025; DOI: 10.3390/microorganisms130501083), which investigates growth kinetics and physiological responses of cyanobacteria using quantitative curve fitting approaches. The release includes R scripts and associated input data files used for the processing, visualization, and modelling of cyanobacterial growth curves. Analyses focus on fitting and comparison of growth models to experimentally derived growth data, enabling extraction of key parameters such as growth rate, lag phase, and carrying capacity under defined experimental conditions. In addition, this repository provides code used to generate publication-quality figures and perform statistical analyses supporting interpretation of cyanobacterial growth dynamics.
