Replication Data for: Is It the Economy or Foreign Policy, Stupid? The Impact of Foreign Crises on Leader Support

There are two files needed to replicate the analyses described and depicted in “Is It the Economy or Foreign Policy, Stupid? The Impact of Foreign Crises on Leader Support,” by Jaroslav Tir and Shane P. Singh: (1) The data, included as “CSES Module 2, Tir and Singh CP”; (2) The Stata code, in a do-file, included as “Replication Code for Is It the Economy or Foreign Policy, Stupid, Tir and Singh CP.” To proceed with the replication, open the data in Stata. Then, open the do-file. The code can be run directly from that file. All models were estimated in Stata 12.
