Forest functions in Saxony – Forest with special immission control function – Areas 1 ha

The data set contains the forest areas (1 ha) with special immission protection function in the Free State of Saxony. Forest with special immission protection function reduces harmful or polluting effects from dusts, aerosols and gases. It thus protects residential, work and recreation areas, agricultural and forestry land as well as other vulnerable objects from adverse effects of these immissions.
