Today we would like to submit a current data on the post-COVID data in IBD patients. The presence of long-term sequelae after acute SARS-CoV-2 infection seems to be prevalent among patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). However, a notable concern in many studies has been the absence of control groups. The objective of our study was to thoroughly examine both COVID and post-COVID symptoms in a meticulously characterized IBD cohort sourced from eight referral centers. Additionally, we included two control cohorts. Notably, our study marks a novel approach by incorporating self-reported health measures for the first time.
