PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process method of wood containing the insolubilized fire retardant to inhibit an occurrence of smoke when heated. SOLUTION: The process method of wood comprises an impregnation process of impregnating an acid phosphoric acid system fire retardant in wood and an insolubilization process of insolubilizing at least the fire retardant of a front layer of the wood by an insolubilizer.
