The flower color is an important point for its commercial value. In Chrysanthemum morifolium, the accumulation of anthocyanin in ray floret is affected by temperature at night. To analyze the transcriptional regulation of anthocyanin biosynthesis, we performed transcriptome analysis of ray floret samples using Illumina sequencing and PacBio single molecule-real time sequencing technology.
