Data from: Evaluation of microsatellite markers for populations studies and forensic identification of African lions (Panthera leo)

Microsatellite data for Panthera leoData were prepared in Microsoft Excel. All samples are held at the Veterinary Genetics Laboratory, University of Pretoria, Onderstepoort, South Africa. The ItemID refers to a unique number for each sample on the database. Sample information was included with each sample submitted to the laboratory.
