Dataset of China's Green Manufacturing Patents (2009–2022)

This dataset is derived from the Derwent Innovations Index (DII) and the China Patent Full-Text Database (CNKI). The classification of green manufacturing patents is based on the intersection of the green technology patent classification codes from the Green Technology Patent Classification System and the manufacturing patent classification codes from the Reference Table of the International Patent Classification and National Economic Industry Classification . Chinese green manufacturing patent data from 2009 to 2022 were retrieved from the Derwent Innovations Index and the China Patent Full-Text Database (CNKI Version). After sorting and cleaning to remove entries without IPC (International Patent Classification) codes, a total of 64,107 valid patents were finally obtained. The dataset was organized in the form of an Excel spreadsheet, including patent publication number, filing date, application year, applicant, main IPC code, full classification codes, and other relevant information. This dataset can be used for analyses such as: technological symbiosis networks 、technological innovation performance and so on. The appendix contains tables that were not presented in the main text of the papers associated with this dataset due to space limitations, including descriptive statistics, robustness tests, mediating effect tests, threshold tests, Bootstrap tests, and heterogeneity analysis.
