RNA-seq analysis of differentially expressed genes between 2-week WT and Ngn3MettlsKO mice.

Using RNA-seq, we identified over 500 differentially expressed genes in KO islets, compared to WT. Among them, a cluster of genes involved in insulin secretion, ion transportation an prolferation were significantly changed. we isolated islets from 2-week KO and WT mice. Pulled more than 400 islets together for each sample and then islet total RNA was extracted using a RNeasy Micro kit (Qiagen) following the manufacturer's protocol.Then, RNA high throughput sequencing was performed by Cloud-Seq Biotech (Shanghai, China).
