May's Global Surface Temperature Climate Analyses, daily 1979-1989Jun

This dataset contains ensemble means and standard deviations computed for daily temperature minimum and maximum, daily mean temperature and the difference between the daily minimum and maximum for 3,905 global land stations. Both smoothed and unsmoothed means and standard deviations are computed using data from the period January, 1979 through June, 1989.Data is also available on a 2.5 degree latitude-longitude grid. Fields available on these grids include monthly mean daily minimum, maximum and mean temperature and the temperature difference. Annual mean daily minimum, maximum and mean temperatures are also available on the 2.5 degree grid. Several other statistical quantities are also available on this grid.
