资源简介:
Holiday travel, November/December 2002 is part of Statistics Norway's quarterly omnibus surveys. From 1992, Statistics Norway started a general omnibus which is carried out 4 times a year. The survey maps people's attitudes to a number of social issues. Various research institutions and other public bodies have the opportunity to buy into the surveys/participate in the design of questionnaires. The aim is to develop an omnibus for statistical production and for use by public bodies that do not wish to carry out a major survey of their own. The surveys consist of a fixed set of background variables in addition to the questions that the clients pay for. Some of these can also almost be regarded as fixed since they are set every quarter. This applies to the questions about smoking (on behalf of the Directorate of Social Affairs and Health) and travel in the last three months (on behalf of the Section for Transport and Tourism Statistics, Statistics Norway).Theme and clients for the omnibus survey 4th quarter, 2002:1. Smoking habits Norwegian Social and Health Directorate, tobacco department2. Travels in the last three months SSB - Section for transport and tourism statistics3. Cohabitation statistics Statistics Norway - Section for demography and living conditions research4. Holidays last twelve months SSB - Section for transport and tourism statisticsData from the survey is divided into several data files. This file contains data about holidays, work and voting. The units in this file are holidays the respondent has been on, and not people. Each holiday is registered as a separate unit. Background data at the individual level can be linked from the individual file
