Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Competition Records (2015–2025)

This dataset contains a processed and anonymized version of competition records from Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) events used in the study “Gender Differences in Competitive Performance and Promotion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.” The data are derived from publicly available competition results on the Smoothcomp platform and were compiled to enable large-scale analysis of match outcomes, scoring dynamics, match duration, and promotion patterns. The data were collected on 13 November 2025.
