资源简介:
Acute liver injury (ALI) is a severe clinical condition that can progress to chronic liver failure, cirrhosis, or hepatocellular carcinoma, yet current therapeutic options remain limited and outcomes are often poor. In this study, we investigated how hepatotoxin-induced gut and liver dysbiosis drive chronic liver inflammation through gut liver microbial crosstalk. We employed three murine models of ALI induced by Concanavalin A (ConA), Staphylococcal Enterotoxin B (SEB), or lipopolysaccharide (LPS), each recapitulating distinct types of human ALI. Across these models, we assessed liver function, microbial composition in the gut, blood, and liver, intestinal integrity, and inflammatory immune responses in both organs.
