RNA-seq analysis of angiotensin II-induced myocardial fibrosis in rats treated with and without sodium butyrate

Analysis of sodium butyrate（NaBu） on angiotensin II（Ang II-induced cardiac fibrosis at gene expression level. The hypothesis tested in the present study was that NaBu influence the balance of gene expression of Ang II-induce cardiac fibrosis. Results provide important information of the response of NaBu to cardiac fibrosis, such as specific genes, up- or down-regulated specific cardiac cellular functions.本研究在基因表达水平上分析了丁酸钠（sodium butyrate，NaBu）对血管紧张素II（angiotensin II，Ang II）诱导的心脏纤维化的作用。本研究验证的核心假说为：丁酸钠可调控血管紧张素II诱导的心脏纤维化相关基因的表达平衡。本研究结果提供了丁酸钠应对心脏纤维化的关键响应信息，包括特异性差异表达基因，以及经其上调或下调的特定心脏细胞功能。
