In order to examine how the subsistence mode affects the human gut microbiome, we analyzed faecal metagenomes of 58 healthy adults from Cameroon (hunter-gatherers, farmers and fishers).Our aim is to describe taxonomical and functional diversity, as well as to unveil the interactions between the eukaryotic and prokaryotic componenet of the gut microbiome.
