The IUCN Red List of THREATENED SPECIES

The IUCN Red List of THREATENED SPECIES database contains 6,224 records of 5,039 unique taxa pertaining to 24 different taxonomic groups including animal, fungi and plant species. Red Lists are approved by the regional Minister of Environment and published in the Belgian Official Gazette acquiring legal status. For the validated Red Lists, we additionally compiled (life-history) traits that are applicable to a wide variety of species groups国际自然保护联盟濒危物种红色名录（IUCN Red List of Threatened Species）数据库收录了涵盖动物、真菌及植物类群的24个不同分类群的5039个独特分类单元（taxa），总计6224条记录。该红色名录经地区环境部长审批，并于《比利时官方公报》发布，具备法定效力。针对经核准的红色名录，本数据库额外汇编了适用于多物种类群的（生活史）特征数据。

该数据集是世界自然保护联盟（IUCN）维护的全球濒危物种红色名录，自1964年建立，是全球最全面的物种保护状态信息源。它评估了超过17.2万个物种，其中28%面临灭绝威胁，并使用九级分类标准系统化评估物种的灭绝风险，为生物多样性保护和政策制定提供关键数据支持。
