To create new linkage maps for two Cupressaceae species, we performed the double digest RADseq (ddRADseq) on 153 full-sib individuals and parents of Chamaecyparis obtusa, and 199 full-sib individuals and parents of Thujopsis dolabrata var. hondae. The ddRADseq libraries were constructed using restriction enzymes (PstI and SphI), and the libraries were sequenced using HiSeq X with 2x151-bp paired-end reads by Macrogen Japan Corp.
