<p>3D scan of a figure holding a tin cup, that is part of the architecture in Hall 6 of the NHM Vienna. It represents the chemical element Tin (Sn). Tin was long seen as “the silver of the ordinary man” and was used for the creation of dishes. Previously lead was often used as an alloy, but some people reacted with health problems and so lead-dishes went out of fashion and tin was used instead. All figures in Hall 6 of the NHM Vienna were created by Edmund Hofmann. </p>
