Income Distribution Dataset

This dataset contains income distribution data for 10,000 individuals from the 2019 Annual Social and Economic Supplement (ASEC) survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, which is divided into four distinct income brackets. In addition, the dataset also includes minimum cost-of-living values based on average annual expenditures, and employs a Bernoulli process to simulate income shocks resulting from irregular work schedules. With a sample size of 10,000 individuals, this dataset is designed for financial simulation analyses to explore utility under income volatility and work schedule uncertainty.
