2 photographs (copy negatives): one of the launch of the PC-490 ship, the other a depiction of unfinished ships at the same shipbuilding site, the Dravo Corporation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 1942 June 6. The PC-490 was a submarine chaser launched at Pittsburgh on October 18, 1941 and commissioned as the USS PC-490 on May 12, 1942. The 3 ships in the other photograph are unnamed.
