NRS-3939 | Registers of school inspections

These volumes are a record of inspections made in each district. Each entry gives the name of the inspectoral district, the towns and villages in that district, the section number, the inspector's name, dates of his inspection, the time taken in inspection, cost of inspection and remarks. Entries are made for each quarter of each year. At the back of the first volume (1/2117) are three lists; the first list, which is undated, gives the country inspectoral districts, the section number, and the area covered by each section. The second list, dated 1919, gives the metropolitan inspectoral sections, the section numbers, the suburbs covered by each section, and the name of the inspector in each section. Also included is a record of the visits made by inspectors in 1919 in the metropolitan area, the total number of visits made, the daily average visits, and the name of the inspector in each section.
