Two short treatises enumerating the seventy-three sects of Islâm.
The first (fol. 1-22) is in Persian, by MAḤMÛD ṬÂHIR GHAZZÂLÎ.
The other (foll. 23-38) is in Arabic. The author is Iṣḥâḳ b. Muḥammad b. جعمان ZABÎDÎ.
It begins:
هذا مجموع الفرق الثلاث و السبعین الغواة الضالة عن طریق السنة والجماعة.
The author, in conclusion, refers for all details to the work of ‘Abdallah b. As’ad Yâfi’î.
Well written in Nasta’liḳ. Of about the twelfth century. Worm eaten.
