The methyl-CpG-binding protein 2 inhibits cGAS-associated signaling

We analyzed the impact of dsDNA stimulation on transcriptomics and retrotranscriptomics profiles in murine cell lines (Mouse Embryonic Fribroblasts and RAW264.7). Overall design: WT-RAW264.7 and WT-MEF were transfected (or not: Mock) with dsDNA prior to RNA or DNA extraction respectively. WT and Mecp2 KO RAW264.7 cells were subjected to RNA extraction. All experiemtns were performed in triplicates.
