资源简介:
These data come from a study investigating whether otolithic detection is altered by different gravitational conditions or sensory conflicts. Otolithic function was assessed using vestibular-evoked myogenic potentials (VEMPs) recorded from three muscles, reflecting utricular and saccular activity. VEMPs were measured during parabolic flight to assess modified gravity and longitudinal effects associated with otolitho-canalar conflict, and before and after a virtual reality exposure inducing visuo-vestibular conflict. This dataset contains measures of muscle tonic activity, response peak latencies, response amplitude and normalized amplitude in three recorded muscles (sternocleidomastoid (SCM), splenius capitis (SCP), inferior oblique (IOB)). The data were collected during vestibular-evoked myogenic potentials (VEMPs) trials, measured during parabolic flights (PF, n = 23) or before and after virtual reality exposition (VR, n = 27). Data were analyzed depending on gravitational levels (0g, 1g, 1.8g; gravitational effect) or before/after exposure to either PF or VR (Pre/Post; longitudinal effect).
