Obesity regulates intestinal crypt functions

Obesity is increasingly recognized as a risk factor for various diseases, but its specific effects on intestinal crypt functions have not been well characterized. This study aimed to explore how obesity influences intestinal crypt functions. We performed RNA-seq on adipose tissues from normal-weight mice (adipose NW-WT) and obese mice (adipose OB-WT) to analyze differentially expressed genes in adipose tissues. And in order to determine the mechanism underlying how obesity regulates intestinal crypt functions, we conducted RNA-seq on intestinal crypt from normal-weight mice (crypt NW-WT), obese mice (crypt OB-WT), and obese mice with depletion of a special Adipokine (crypt OB-AKO). Here, this project stored the raw sequencing data associated with this study.
