Time series data at Feitsui Reservoir

We have collected water samples biweekly at 2-m depth from the Feitsui Reservoir (121.34E at 24.55N) in northern Taiwan since March 2014. We filtered 1 L of water through a 0.2-um-pore polycarbonate filter (Millipore, Bedford, MA, USA) to retain prokaryotic organisms. After filtering, we immediately stored the 0.2-um-pore-size filters in liquid nitrogen and then preserved them at -20 C in our laboratory until further molecular analysis could be conducted.
