Rhizotron experiment performed in the greenhouse using a Luvisol of an agricultural field in Klein-Altendorf. The rhizosphere soil microbiome of winter wheat was investigated. The soil was spiked with four different types of microplastics (LDPE, PP,PS and PES). The study is relevant for investigating the effects of microplastics on the microbiome of agricultural rhizosphere soil.
