Data and R Code for "Habitat-Associated Patterns of Cockroach Abundance and Diversity in Mampong Municipality, Ghana: Implications for Public Health

This dataset and accompanying R code support the study “Habitat-Associated Patterns of Cockroach Abundance and Diversity in Mampong Municipality, Ghana: Implications for Public Health.” The dataset contains site-level records from 30 sampling sites comprising offices, kitchens, and toilets in Mampong Municipality, Ghana. It includes abundance records for cockroach specimens reliably identified to species level and the variables used in the statistical analyses reported in the study. The accompanying R script reproduces the principal analyses, including negative binomial regression of cockroach abundance, species richness and Shannon diversity analyses, Bray–Curtis community dissimilarities, PERMANOVA, PERMDISP, pairwise PERMANOVA, and the associated analytical figures.
