Emotion Experiment Execution

The experiment was conducted in PsychoPy.To conduct the experiment you will need images from databases of standardised images. The databases and images used in the experiment are listed in <i>Images from each image dataset</i>. Before running the experiment you need to create 5 folders in the same directory as the code: <i>Gnuss</i> with images that induce disgust, <i>Vesel </i>with images that induce happiness, <i>Strah </i>with images that induce fear, <i>Nevtr</i> with neutral images, and <i>Vse_s </i>with all of the images.To recreate the experiments, the <i>Image Sequences Randomised </i>includes the randomised sequences of image display based on their emotion category. We conducted 5 rounds of randomised sequences.Additionally, there is code for image categorisation task, where the participant has to categorise each of the images in the experiment in one of basic emotion categories: “Happiness”, “Fear”, “Anger”, “Sadness”, “Disgust”, or “Neutral”.
