资源简介:
This series consists of four different types of Register for recording requisitions with mixed provenances.Unit 1 (1855 1856) contains two separate record series consisting of requisitions approved by the Governor and then requisitions approved by the Commissioner of Public Works. The latter requisitions relate mainly to repairs of buildings rather than the more substantial works listed in the former section. The section for requisitions as approved by the Governor lists them in numerical order with the date, the nature of the work and the amount authorised. The section for repairs as approved by the Commissioner has the same headings with the additional one relating to the amount of the accounts presented for payment.Unit 2 (1859 1866) is a register of requisitions of VA 2964 Department of Roads and Bridges. This volume records requisitions by the Department and its District road Engineers from the Government printer for stationery and office requisites and for other requisites from the Government Storekeeper and requisitions for the delivery of these materials. Details until 1864 are : the officer ordering the materials, a list of the materials and notes regarding its delivery. From late 1864 details include estimates of the cost and the actual cost and dates pertaining to the delivery of the goods and the passing of accounts.Unit 3 (1862) is from the Department of Public Works. It is alphabetically indexed to works projects with the source of funds noted on the double folio allocated for each project. This source is identified by the Division Number from the Vote for the year. Full details of all requisitions relating to those works, including contracts, are given with dates and amounts of approvals, the names of the claimant and the particulars of the provision, the amount expended and, where applicable, the storekeepers number. From the Ports and Harbours Branch of the Public Works Department, Unit 4 (1909 1914) contains letter-press copies of requisitions for stationery and printed forms from that Branch, presumably forwarded to the Government Printer.
