资源简介:
This dataset contains country-year data on disaster risk reduction and disaster response capacity across Southeast Asia from 1991 to 2021. It covers 11 countries: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Viet Nam. The dataset includes variables related to national disaster management laws and policies, disaster risk reduction strategies, institutional arrangements, emergency response systems, early warning and communication mechanisms, disaster financing, health-system capacity, and wider social and economic conditions relevant to resilience. It was created as part of the project Disaster Impact, Risk Reduction and Regime Type in Southeast Asia (DG-HUB) and relates specifically to the project’s second research question: what potential disaster risk reduction strategies can be identified to facilitate and strengthen disaster responses across Southeast Asia?
