Job drivers in India 2020, by gig type

According to a survey on the gig economy in India, the primary reason to take up a job among both gig and non-gig workers was to meet their monthly household expenses. Whereas 27 percent of people took gig jobs to fund their other expenses. Financial independence was also a major motivation to take up gig jobs.
