资源简介:
Diabetes is associated with an increase in neutrophil NET production. Low density neutrophils (LDNs) have a greater propensity for spontaneous production of NETs, and are increased in the diabetic host during infection with S. aureus. We compared gene expression between high density (HDN) and LDNs isolated from the blood of infected db/db mice. Overall design: Mice were infected with 5e7 CFU S. aureus (SF8300) and blood was collected 48h post infection. Blood from 10 mice were pooled and LDNs and HDNs purified. Matched pairs of LDN and HDN were compared.
