Bibliometric Data on Problem-Solving Skills in Primary Education: Records, Co-citation, Bibliographic Coupling, and Keyword Analysis

This dataset provides a comprehensive and curated collection of bibliographic metadata related to research on problem-solving skills in primary education. The dataset was systematically retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection on July 31, 2025, using a robust keyword strategy that combined terms for problem-solving and primary education. After a rigorous relevance review conducted by two independent experts, 435 validated scholarly records were retained for analysis.
The data were processed using VOSviewer, employing three major bibliometric techniques (co-citation analysis, bibliographic coupling, and keyword co-occurrence analysis) to uncover the intellectual foundations, thematic trends, and future directions of this research domain.
