Number of residential building permits issued in Germany 2007-2022

German saw an drop in the number of permits issued for residential property construction in 2022 compared to the previous year. The total number of permits issued increased from approximately 174,690 in 2008 to 380,740 in 2021, when that figure peaked. The number of housing permits in Poland also fell in 2022.
