Most importantly today, it is used to make silicon semiconductors. Gypsum is used in the construction industry in the form of plasterboard and wet plaster. It is also used as a fertilizer and road construction. Copper is widely used in electronics industry especially for use in wires. It’s also used for currency, jewelry, plumbing and to conduct electricity.
