资源简介:
Autonomic dysfunction is a common condition in adolescence and is associated with a wide range of somatic and psychosocial symptoms that significantly affect quality of life. Adolescence represents a critical developmental period during which imbalance of the autonomic nervous system may negatively influence physical functioning, emotional stability, and social adaptation. This article aims to analyze the quality of life of adolescents with autonomic dysfunction based on current scientific evidence. The study is based on a narrative review of scientific literature focusing on clinical manifestations of autonomic dysfunction and their impact on different domains of quality of life. The findings indicate that adolescents with autonomic dysfunction experience reduced physical activity, increased fatigue, sleep disturbances, and recurrent somatic complaints. In addition, emotional instability, anxiety, and social withdrawal were commonly observed, further impairing psychosocial well-being and academic performance. Overall, the evidence suggests that autonomic dysfunction has a multidimensional negative impact on adolescents’ quality of life. Early diagnosis and a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to management may improve physical, emotional, and social functioning, thereby enhancing overall well-being during adolescence.
