Districts of the Canary Islands at 01/01/2007.

This data set with the __territorial delimitations for statistical purposes of the Canary Islands__ districts at the reference date, is __basic cartography__ used for the symbolic representation of geospatial statistics. The information is provided in the geodetic system of geographic coordinates __WGS84__ (World Geodetic System 1984, __SRID:4326__), used by the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC), in several formats and with two generalizations (the one named as generalized in less detail). The alphanumeric data is encoded in __UTF-8__.
