资源简介:
Datafiles for the paper: A semi-analytical transient undisturbed velocity correction scheme for wall-bounded two-way coupled Euler-Lagrange simulations authored by: Akshay Chandran, Fabien Evrard, and Berend van Wachem. DOI: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jcp.2024.113496 Data description The data provides the particle positions, velocities, forces, and relative errors for figures in the paper for the parallel settling, perpendicular falling, and fixed particle cases. The data is organized into the following three folders: 1. fixedparticle:     - This folder contains data for the error plot shown in figure 5 of the paper. The file fixedparticle/plot/relativeerror_dpbydx.gp can be used to plot this data.    - The folders fixedparticle/hcase1, fixedparticle/hcase2, and fixedparticle/hcase3 depict the different wall-normal distances shown in figure 5 in the paper. These folders contain the relative error values in an error.dat file with the columns as dpbydx, withcorrection (wc), nocorrection (nc), and reference (ref) referring to the particle diameter to mesh-spacing ratio, two-way coupled Euler-Lagrange (EL) simulation with the correction model from the paper, two-way coupled EL with no correction, and one-way coupled EL simulation respectively. 2. parallelsettling:     - This folder contains the data for figures 6-9 of the paper. The gnuplot (.gp) files in each of them can be used to plot the data.    - Figures 6-8 are made at a particle Reynolds number, Rep = 0.01, with Stokes numbers as St = {0.1,1,10}. Subfolders dpbydx0p1, dpbydx0p5, and dpbydx1 contain the data corresponding to figures 6, 7, and 8 respectively. These folders denote the three different particle diameter to mesh-spacing ratios, dp/dx = {0.1,0.5,1} used in figures 6, 7, and 8 respectively.    - Each of these subfolders contain a folder named Re0p01_trilinearinterpolation, since the data is obtained at Rep = 0.01 and the EL simulations use trilinear interpolation to obtain the fluid velocity at the particle location.    - The data is further classified inside the folder Rep0p01_trilinearinterpolation according to the wall-normal distance (h) the particle is located in. The four classifications are hcase1, hcase2, hcase3, and hcase4 corresponding to the four cases shown in the figures 6-8 in the paper.    - Figure 9 is made at particle Reynolds number, Rep=1, with Stokes number, St = 1. Subfolder Re_dependence contains the data corresponding to this figure. Re_dependence subfolder contains the two folders dpbydx0p5 and dpbydx1 corresponding to data for the particle diameter to mesh-spacing ratio, dp/dx = {0.5,1} respectively. 3. perpendicular_freefall:     - This folder contains the data for figure 10 of the paper. The gnuplot (.gp) files in each of them can be used to plot the data for every Stokes number.    - All plots are made at a particle Reynolds number, Rep = 0.1, with Stokes numbers at St = {0.1,1,10}.    - The three subfolders St0p1, St1, and St10 contain data for the three Stokes number cases shown in figure 10 of the paper. Each of these subfolders is further classified into Re0p1/dpbydx0p5 and Re0p1/dpbydx1 denoting that the data is obtained at Rep = 0.1, and the two particle diameter to mesh-spacing ratios, dp/dx = {0.5,1} shown in figure 10. All data files for figures 6-10 follow the same naming format. Data files for Euler-Lagrange simulations with correction, without correction, and reference one-way coupled simulations are named as p_wc.dat, p_nc.dat, and p_reference.dat respectively. The columns in each file are as follows: Column 1:  Integer time-step of the simulationColumn 2:  X-position of the particleColumn 3:  Y-position of the particleColumn 4:  Z-position of the particleColumn 5:  X-velocity of the particleColumn 6:  Y-velocity of the particleColumn 7:  Z-velocity of the particleColumn 8:  X-force of the particleColumn 9:  Y-force of the particleColumn 10: Z-force of the particle Running the plotting scripts: gnuplot filename.gp && pdflatex filename.tex The code used to generate the transient Stokeslet maps, which were used to obtain the undisturbed velocity corrected solutions can be found at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.20269212.
