The data records the daily vehicle miles traveled for each county in North Carolina. The VMT data is estimated based on cellphone data by the firm Streetlight Data. It represents household-based VMT but does not capture commercial vehicle traffic such as truck traffic. The raw VMT data is available for purchase as a .csv file. The extract contains daily VMT for all counties in North Carolina from 2019 to the present.
