Regional Bikeway Network (2019)

The Regional Bikeway Network (RBN), originally established in the 2001 Regional Bicycle Plan, defines the San Francisco Bay Region's continuous and connected bicycling corridors of regional significance. A primary purpose of the RBN, which includes both existing and unbuilt segments, is to focus regional bicycle-related funding on high-priority bicycle facilties that serve regional trips. Data for this feature set was gathered in December 2018. In 2009, almost 50% of the Network's 2,169 miles had been constructed. As of December 2018, 1,391 miles have been constructed, or 64% of the network.
