Lack of Ctnnb1 in CXCL12+ apical papilla cells causes a cell fate shift and fail to differentiate into root forming cells such as odontoblasts or cementoblasts. Here, we set out to reveal the transcriptome change induced by Ctnnb1 deficiency in CXCL12+ apical papilla cells tdTomato+ cells were FACS-isoalted from postnatal day 10 (P10) apical papilla of Ctnnb1 conditional Het and conditional KO mandibular molars (tamoxifen pulse at P3). mRNA were amplifed by SMART-Seq V4 PLUS Kit (R400752, Takara Bio) before deep-sequenced by Illumina NextSeq550.
