Date set for “Assessing stable silicon isotopes as proxy for nutrient utilization and carbon cycling in low-productivity marine systems”

This dataset is based on an article in submission entitled "Assessing stable silicon isotopes as proxy for nutrient utilization and carbon cycling in low-productivity marine systems",which includes:Table 1. Salinity, dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN) concentration, silicic acid (DSi) and biogenic silica (BSi) concentration and their stable isotopic composition (δ30SiDSi and δ30SiBSi), particulate organic carbon (POC) and nitrogen (PON) concentration and their stable isotopic composition (δ13CPOC and δ15NPON), and Chlorophyll a (Chl- a) and Fucoxanthin (Fuco) concentration data collected during the summer and winter cruises to the South China Sea (SCS) in June 2017 and January 2018.Table 2. BSi, POC and PON to particulate thorium-234 (234Thp) ratios (BSi/234Thp, POC/234Thp, and PON/234Thp), and export fluxes of 234Th, BSi, POC, and PON at various depths in the SCS.
