Whole genome sequence of Mycobacterium tuberculosis variant bovis strain MP287-03

The aim of this study is to sequence and analyze the whole genome of a pathogenic isolate of Mycobacterium tuberculosis variant bovis strain MP287-03. This strain was kindly given by Dr. Jose Soares Ferreira Neto that isolated from cattle, Sao Paulo, in 2003. Dr Ferreira Neto is a Full Professor and Director of School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of University of Sao Paulo and holds a Masters in Epidemiology and a PhD in Pathology.
