资源简介:
This study investigates the effect of different factors, such as demographic factors, agriculture factors, knowledge and perception, and support, on the interest to adopt a smart farming system for farmers in Sisaket province. Qualitative and quantitative analyses were conducted. Participants (n = 3) had an in-depth interview. Participants (n = 50) were also surveyed via online channels. Cross-case analysis was conducted from the in-depth interviews. Descriptive analysis was used to understand the nature of the data. The collected data from the surveys were analyzed using multiple regression. The results show that knowledge of technology and the support from the government have a statistically significant effect on an interest to adopt a smart farming system. However, the machinery experience, technology perception, negative smart farming perception, support from the private sector, and learning effectiveness from the non-government sector are shown to be insignificant.
