We applied eDNA metabarcoding to sequence the metazoan (COI marker), and total eukaryotic (18S marker) benthic components. We targeted a gradient of sites ranging from high to typical, low impacts, located near active production platforms and reference sites on the Norwegian continental shelf, in the North and Barents Seas.
