Scientific libraries: General information in 2023

The German Library Statistics (DBS) is the national statistics of the German library system and contains statistical key figures. It includes public libraries, scientific libraries, as well as specialized scientific libraries. More information can be found at [DBS](https://www.bibliotheksstatistik.de/). This dataset contains the following information on academic libraries in Bavaria in 2023: Library locations, students, academic staff, borrowers, 1. Registered users, 2. Registered users: of which: Students, 3. Registered users: of which: Scientific staff, 4. Registered users: of which: External, opening days per year, opening hours per week (regular opening time), proportion of closed magazine holdings (%), exhibitions in the reporting year, other cultural events
