Diel release timing is a critical determinant of reef fish survival in Post-larval Capture, Culture, and Release

The present folder contains the full datasets and analysis scripts for the study investigating how diel release timing influences early post-settlement survival and behaviour of Pomacentrus amboinensis following Post-larval Capture, Culture, and Release (PCCR), as well as the examination of predation over the diel cycle. The files include survival monitoring data, post-release behavioural observations, size of fish at capture and at release, and diel, interval-specific mortality estimates derived from repeated survival checks. All statistical analyses and results figures used in the manuscript are fully reproducible using the provided R scripts. Scripts are annotated and provide further detail.
